Step 1:
From Netscape 4's Edit menu, select Preferences...

Step 2:
When the Preferences window appears, expand the Mail & Newsgroups category and select Identity sub-category to continue.

Step 3:
Complete the Identity section with the information you see below substituting yourdomain with your actual domain. Click on the Mail Servers sub-category.

Step 4:
Click the Add... button.

Step 5:
Complete the following form as you see below substituting yourdomain with your actual domain and your personal information. Click the OK button.

Step 6:
Complete the Outgoing Mail Server portion of the Preferences window as you see below substituting yourdomain with your actual domain and your personal information. Click the OK button to complete adding your new e-mail account.

Congratulations! Your e-mail account has been setup.

Step 3:
Update the Identity section with the information you see below substituting yourdomain with your actual domain. Click on the Mail Servers sub-category.

Step 4:
Click once on the name of the configuration you wish to edit so that the configuration is highlighted.
(For most users only one configuration will be listed. If you have old unused accounts listed you will want to delete the accounts, Netscape 4 may encounter an error when trying to check an old unused account.)
Then click the Edit... button to continue.

Step 5:
Update the following form as you see below substituting yourdomain with your actual domain and your personal information. Click the OK button.

Step 6:
Update the Outgoing Mail Server portion of the Preferences window as you see below substituting yourdomain with your actual domain and your personal information. Click the OK button to complete updating your existing e-mail account.
